Using the streaming video clips on our site:

Usually a simple click on the sample tug image should do it.

Sometimes the Windows Media Player fails to open all the way on the first try. It even does that for us sometimes when first turning our computers on, giving us either a "corrupted file" or a "wrong codec" message:

The files are NOT corrupted, and there is no "codec" problem: The player is "timing out" (or taking longer to open than usual because of the size of the media file it's trying to play). If you get this message, just completely close out of the player (the "X" at the top right of the player) and click on the "play video" button again. Once the player is fully up and running, it should work fine for subsequent clips.

Choose the screen resolution that you prefer

Choose between a small clear picture and a larger but less clear one.

Users who have broadband connections will have a better experience playing the clips than dial-up users.

If the player opens and you see a message at the bottom saying that "buffering" is underway, be patient, as the player won't begin the playback until enough of the video has been buffered for continuous play.
